A very personal message from Micaela 💫

Hi, I'm Micaela, founder of MILASAI. Saying founder feels a bit cold to me… because what I feel goes so much deeper. Creating is the law of my life, my driving force, and each piece of jewelry that's born carries something very profound from me.

Today I want to open my heart to you and share something that isn't always said out loud.

This past year MILASAI has grown SO MUCH, and it's all been thanks to you and the people who support us with their trust, their words, and their love for our work.

For example, we launched a new collection with more pieces, more details and more complexity, but always true to our essence: 
- Recycled 930 silver of high quality and pure gold vermeil.
- Local suppliers who are responsible with the environment.
- Artisanal crafting, from the workshop, with dedication in every detail.

We also brought new people onto the team to be able to fulfill what we promise: local and careful production, but without long delays. We've expanded our shipping worldwide. All of this is wonderful, and there are still many more plans for the future!


THE REALITY
However, there's a part of this journey that also deserves to be told.
While MILASAI expands, so do the responsibilities, the obstacles, the instability of the world (that we all know and live), and the value of our most essential materials: silver and gold.
For months I lived with that pressure, trying to hold it up myself, out of fear, lack of information and also from the desire for the pieces to be within reach, to be part of your stories, and of who you want to become. But MILASAI has a very clear objective and a promising future.


THE TRUTH
Learning to manage a business, sustain a small but strong team and reinvest without losing myself along the way, has been a profound process, of so much work, challenges and also personal growth.

I learned the most important thing: for a project to grow it has to be profitable. It's not enough to dream, create or put passion into it. You have to make the numbers work, because only that way everything else is possible.

I'm truly proud of what we're achieving, AND I WANT TO KEEP GIVING YOU MORE! The best of me, that's my way of being and doing.
And I won't stop until I achieve what I desire! The best is yet to come, you'll see.

Like in any alchemical process, to reach the light you first have to transform the shadows ✨.

That's why, MILASAI needs to take a step forward: To actively respond to its growing demand, in a sustainable way and continue offering pieces with the best quality and detail, which characterizes us.

It's what we deserve too, I deeply believe in the value of the brand and in the value of each piece created. I know the work that's behind it, and even more challenging, the work that lies ahead. And now you know it too. :)


PRICE INCREASE
It's the decision that was needed and the only one that will keep making everything possible! You won't notice it so much, there will be an adjustment of 15% to 20%. But for us it will be important.

When: September 1st.

This means that until Sunday at 11:59 PM you can still take advantage of the entire website with current prices.
If you already had some special piece in mind, this is the best moment to make it yours before the change.

And if you decide to wait and buy after the increase, that's okay too!
